I am pleased to let your know that we have scheduled an 'Open House' viewing of a sample one and two bedroom unit. Members on the Membership committee will be pleased to receive you on Saturday June 25th 2011 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Please come to unit #12 (for the one bedroom) and / or unit #25 (for the two bedroom), both at '78 1/2 Spruce Street'. If you are interested in both type units you need to view and sign-in at both units. This address is also referred to on site as simply 'Spruce Court', and is a courtyard north off Spruce Street between 78 & 80 Spruce Street addresses. You can come any time between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

There is no need to email us any further, simply just attend at the open house

Spruce Street runs east off Parliament Street between Carlton Street & Gerrard Street East. If you are coming by transit, take the Yonge subway to College station and take the College Street car #506 east on Carlton & Gerrard Streets (you will need a TTC transfer) to Sumach St., and walk one block north on Sumach Street to Spruce Street. The courtyard is to your left about half a block along Spruce Street.

You must attend an 'Open House' to get on the waiting lists. After viewing the unit and if you are interested, you will be handed an application to apply to the Co-op and go on our 1 and/or 2 bedroom waiting list. Please make sure you sign in. Also in order to make sure you qualify or have all the information that you will need to determine your interest, please read the following.

No Subsidies Available; therefore we are not taking applications from those who need subsidy.

Occupancy standards:
One Bedroom Units: preferably one - but maximum two adults. No children are allowed in one bedroom units because it would require a parent and child to share the same bedroom.

Two Bedroom Units: minimum two persons, maximum two adults and three persons. (Just two adults are welcome to apply, however the Co-op does have a minimum quota requirement for families with children in two bedrooms. Adult applicants would be passed over if the quota is not met.)
