Before the time of air travel, anyone who visited
Toronto came by boat, carriage or train making Union station a portal
to the city. Opened in 1927 by the Prince of Whales, the building
stretches 750 ft along Front St. Walking through the front door,
it is difficult not to be impressed by its monumental style and
260 ft ceilings.
