Awesome Toronto events happening January 8-10

If pants became too much of a hassle, resolve in 2016 to wear pants less, starting with the No Pants Subway Ride on Sunday. Or if prepping for your imaginary (or real) wedding is in the cards, head to one of three bridal events happening this weekend, January 8-10.

3 bridal shows this weekend

Whether or not your guy popped the question over the holidays, this weekend is jam-packed with three big wedding events to plan your big day, engaged or not. Grab the girls and head to Canada’s Bridal Show, which runs all three days, Park Hyatt Wedding Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, and the WedLuxe Wedding Show on Sunday.

Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival

See 10 awesome Canadian films, for $10 each, over 10 days. The festival at TIFF celebrates great Canadian productions, each of which were selected by a panel of filmmakers and industry pros from the Great White North.

No Pants Subway Ride

Detest wearing pants? You’re not alone. Join your pants-averse brethren across North America for the annual No Pants Subway Ride, which started as a movement in New York. Toronto’s bottomless event ends with a dance party that raises funds for below-the-belt charities. Check the Facebook event page for updates.
