Awesome Toronto events happening November 13-15

The people who thought of putting on an event where a bunch of folks don 3D glasses AND Jason masks while watching Friday the 13th (on Friday the 13th) AND play drinking games are geniuses. Their event happens tomorrow, along with other awesome events this weekend, including a flea market, a free live Jully Black show and a winter cycling workshop. All part of the Toronto amazingness happening this weekend, November 13-15.

Play drinking games with friends and strangers while watching Jason hack and slash his way through unwitting twentysomethings in Friday the 13th Part 3… presented in 3D. The event is put on my Drunken Cinema, which we have to give major props to for making an event out of playing drinking games while watching a movie, outside of the house party realm.

When to go: Friday, 7 pm
Where at? The Steady Cafe & Bar, 1051 Bloor
Tickets: $5 (includes Jason mask, 3D glasses and cards for drinking games)

Erin Cardone: Born on the Prairies, Erin Cardone grew up knowing there was more to life than canola fields and AAA Alberta Angus. So she escaped, living in Europe and Australia, white-knuckling it through plates of calf brains and raw horse meat, and learning languages she can't remember anymore. After a stint as a jaded, skeptical journalist, she changed tack and began writing rather awesome blogs and showing businesses that advertising is dead, so long live social media, with her businesses Legendary Social Media. She now splits her time between various Canadian cities, Costa Rica and wherever else the wind blows.
