Electric Island is back, and everyone’s stoked

No one really parties hard enough on a long weekend, so the kind, thoughtful souls at Electric Island have returned to resurrect a TO summer staple, starting Monday, May 23.

Every long weekend, Electric Island takes over Hanlan Point on the main island, playing electronic music on the last day of each long weekend until September. It’s a big outdoor party playing DJ sets full of dancy electronic music with great vibes, tons of people, drinks, food and more.

The shindig is accessible by the ferry which leaves from Queens Quay West.

Season’s passes that get you in to every show this summer are on sale (as of the date of writing this) for $169.49 and up, or you can get tickets for the May 23 party for $50.84 and up.

The party goes into the evening, so bring your flashlight and a sweater.

Additional dates are July 1, August 1 and September 4-5.

So she escaped, living in Europe and Australia, white-knuckling it through plates of calf brains and raw horse meat, and learning languages she can't remember anymore. After a stint as a jaded, skeptical journalist, she changed tack and began writing rather awesome blogs and showing businesses that advertising is dead, so long live social media, with her businesses Legendary Social Media. She now splits her time between various Canadian cities, Costa Rica and wherever else the wind blows.
