How to date the coolest person ever

Okay, so we’re not going to help you date Drake here. So who’s this cool person you should totally date?

You! It’s long past time that you take care of yourself and do the things you love doing. You work hard every day and barely get any time for some alone time, and getting alone time is more important than ever nowadays in our hectic and frantic city lives. Here are some great ideas that you may want to consider the next time you have some time to kill and no one to kill it with.

Go to the movies by yourself

There are two reasons why this is a great option to do by yourself: the first being that it lets you go see anything you want to, without any judgement from your friends or from anyone who might have different tastes as you. Buy some popcorn, sit down and enjoy your favourite guilty pleasure without guilt! Secondly, since a movie is a pretty solitary thing anyway, even if you have friends (it’s not like you’re talking to them in the movie…right?), you’ll quickly forget you’re even alone in the first place.

Make yourself an awesome dinner

Go out and buy all the ingredients you love, check out a new recipe and make yourself a great meal that you won’t forget. Treat your body right and those good vibes will fill you up along with all that great food! There’s not much like making yourself tacos and watching some great TV, or baking brownies and eating them out on your deck. Treat yourself!

Go on a little adventure

Whether you’re just going to a new neighbourhood in your town that you never really go to, or if you’re hopping onto a train, bus, or car to get somewhere totally new, give yourself a few days and go exploring! Some of the best experiences are had when you’re far away from anything familiar, and this way you can get away from all the problems and stresses you’re facing in your everyday – literally!

Go to a café and read a book

Not only will you get some great coffee and read that book you’ve been dying to finish for ages, but you’ll inevitably end up meeting great new people. Cafes are a mecca for the interesting, and you’re sure to meet people who have interesting things to tell you. In the event you don’t, you still have your book and a great cup of coffee!
