Nice interiors take time and effort to maintain and design though, and most interiors can be improved with some simple tricks and tips!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Too much kitchen clutter<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Not only does an excessive amount of clutter look messy and disorganized, too many appliances and items on the countertop inhibit working space and make the room seem smaller than it really is. By getting rid of things you never use, and putting away appliances you don\u2019t use very often, you can really open up the appearance and feel of your kitchen.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Bad lighting\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Balancing the lighting in a room can make a dim, dungeon-y space seem like a solarium. Proper lighting techniques are essential to making a space look much more inviting than it already is. Take a look at your lighting and see if it needs to be arranged differently and don\u2019t be afraid to go shopping for more lights to mount around your house. Maybe you can even think of a creative lighting solution yourself and customize your home even more!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>A sloppy bookcase<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s easy to let bookcases turn into cluttered disasters when you keep taking things off and putting them back up, but it pays to take a minute or two to reorganize that shelf \u2013 a cluttered and disorganized bookcase leaves a disorganized feel to your entire space, so get to work and tidy it up a bit to make the entire room feel more inviting!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Cluttered tabletops<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Similar to the point above, having too much clutter on tabletops destroys the calm and tranquil nature of most rooms and gives you less space to move around in. You don\u2019t have to get rid of your favourite fun accessories, but moving things to new homes and putting away that which you don\u2019t need can really open up your space for the better.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Bad furniture and seating arrangements<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s important to have a good and proper flow to your apartment and you should encourage this by positioning your furniture in such a way as to facilitate natural movement around the space of your apartment.
