Bring some of that bellbottoms and disco-era magic into your home with this crazy cheap and cool-looking plant hanger that looks like macrame, but isn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h3>The parts. You&#8217;ll need<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ikea.com\/ca\/en\/catalog\/products\/87077700\/\">Heat trivets<\/a>, 3-pack \u2013 $4.99<\/li>\n<li>plant pot, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ikea.com\/ca\/en\/catalog\/products\/20174594\/\">Oradd<\/a> \u2013 $0.99<\/li>\n<li>wool yarn, try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yarncanada.ca\/search.php?search_query=wool+yarn&amp;x=0&amp;y=0\">this kind<\/a> \u2013 $11.00<\/li>\n<li>trapillo jersey yarn, try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yarncanada.ca\/search.php?search_query=jersey+yarn&amp;x=0&amp;y=0\">this kind<\/a> \u2013 $5.00<\/li>\n<li>large wooden beads, like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canadiandiysupply.com\/collections\/wood-beads\/products\/natural-maple-large-round-bead-1-25?variant=13203292164\">these<\/a> \u2013 $10.00<\/li>\n<li>scalpel or knife<\/li>\n<li>screw driver<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>\n<h3>Do it.<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Keep in mind that you should make this bad boy into your own design. Basically, you\u2019re going to cut out the trivets into disks, and circles without centres. Cut them carefully with the scalpel or knife. Then, use the screwdriver to make holes in the trivets and pieces so that they\u2019ll sit horizontally like shelves for the plant pot at your desired locations on the plant hanger.<\/p>\n<p>Use the yarn and wooden beads to suspend and decorate the plant hanger.
