This Ikea hack helps you Kanye your bathroom by adding a pimp wooden surround on your bathtub.<\/p>\n<h3>The parts. You&#8217;ll need:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ikea.com\/ca\/en\/catalog\/products\/40275224\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ekbacken countertop<\/a>, or other Ikea countertop, enough to cover the front of your bathtub x2 \u2013 $60.00 each<\/li>\n<li>Saw<\/li>\n<li>Screws<\/li>\n<li>Drill<\/li>\n<li>Wood glue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Do it.<\/h3>\n<p>The first thing to keep in mind is that you\u2019re going to want to NOT destroy your bathtub while doing this so you don\u2019t have to replace it when you move out.<\/p>\n<p>The second thing is to measure the design out first before you start, as some smaller bathrooms might not support an addition like this.<\/p>\n<p>Your first step is to measure out whether your bathroom can support a step up to the bathtub, similar to what you see in the original blog. A standard riser is 10\u201d deep, by about 7\u201d high.
