Halloween is the time when people tend to get crazy and party all night, no matter their age or beliefs. If dressing trashy and getting wasted isn\u2019t in the cards for you this year, we\u2019ve resurrected some pretty decent Halloween ideas that are great alternatives to hangovers and life choices you\u2019ll regret on November 1.<\/p>\n
It almost seems like a staple for Halloween, but people don\u2019t tend to do these as much as they should. A great way to have a quiet night (besides the screams!) with your friends is to rent a bunch of horror movies, from the old (Nightmare on Elm St, Friday the 13th<\/sup>, Halloween, The Exorcist) to the new (Paranormal Activity, Insidious) and have a long night of laughs and yelps. Get some blankets, pillows, snacks and friends and have a great night that won\u2019t cost much and won\u2019t leave you hungover and tired the next day.<\/p>\n Nothing brings a friendship or family together like going for a messy stroll through a pumpkin patch, finding a great pumpkin or two, bringing them home and carving them up. Not only will you be able to get out and have a great time (and maybe stop for some hot chocolate!), but you\u2019ll also stretch your creative muscles with your crew and make some wicked carvings to show off on Snapchat. Invite a bunch of people and make a little contest out of it \u2013 winner gets a bottle of wine!<\/p>\n Even though it\u2019s wet and cold outside, don\u2019t discount the great outdoors when you\u2019re thinking of what to do for a great night of fun! Get some cider or cocoa, a nice campfire and have everyone telling ghost stories like you were 12 again. It may seem a bit childish at first, but you\u2019ll quickly get caught up in the moment and have lots of fun.
