Wanna know the weather forecast when you’re downtown Toronto? Sure, there’s an app for that, but how much cooler would you look if you could pronounce the day’s outlook without a glance at your iPhone?<\/p>\n

The answer: Way cooler! So today’s awesome life hack shows you how to forecast Toronto’s weather without:<\/p>\n

  1. A) looking at your phone and<\/li>\n
  2. B) slobbering on your finger and shooting it into the air.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here’s how:<\/p>\n

    Take a glance at the Canada Life Building weather beacon. The tower located on University has a spire at the top that’s been programmed to tell you all about the weather.<\/p>\n

    Now, for a rundown of what it’s trying to tell us:<\/p>\n

    Flashing red: <\/strong>rain<\/p>\n

    Flashing white: <\/strong>snow<\/p>\n

    Solid red: <\/strong>cloudy<\/p>\n

    Solid green: <\/strong>clear<\/p>\n

    The horizontal lights on the spire indicate the temperature by shooting upwards when the temperature is warming up and shooting downwards when it’s \u2013 you guessed it \u2013 dropping.<\/p>\n
