The kids are off from school, seeing them at home is filling you with urges to\u2026kill that extra free time you may have with them over the holidays? No, kids? No problem! If you\u2019re feeling to add some bounce to your pounce, some pep to your step or just want to do something heart-warming because the weather outside is so\u2026delightful. Whatever situation you may find yourself in over this holiday season, we have some lovely artistic December activities for you.<\/em><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong>\u00a0Come From Away:<\/strong> If you want to keep your heart warm during this December season, may we suggest Come From Away (no, it\u2019s not an x-rated movie). It\u2019s been described as a moving tribute to the indomitable human spirit. Come From Away is a heartwarming musical about September 11, 2001 (yes, you read that correctly). In the wake of the horrific events, the ensuing closure of the United States airspace lead to 38 planes, carrying 6,579 passengers to be diverted to Gander, a remote Newfoundland town. There, in the face of tragedy, the guests were welcomed and treated with a brotherly (sisterly) comradery that will forever serve to remind us that the world is still a good place.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong>\u00a0Seussical:<\/strong> Dr. Seuss. That is all. There really isn\u2019t anything else to add. But we will. Seussical is a musical amalgamation of many of Dr. Seuss\u2019s most famous books. The show is vibrant, magical, uplifting, weird and well-cast. It offers fun for adults and children alike.
