From New Years\u2019 resolutions to just plain wanting to work out and get our summer bods going early, taking care of ourselves is always a concern for a huge number of people. The problem is that between work and the hectic business of our lives, there is often never a chance to get any working out done! It\u2019s way easier to stay at home and watch our favourite shows, for instance, than it is to get out and get things done. That doesn\u2019t mean that there aren\u2019t little tricks that can help even the busiest person though! Here are a few exercises you can do in a few minutes and incorporate alongside your day. It\u2019s time to start feeling great!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Speaking of watching shows \u2013 exercise in front of that TV!<\/h2>\n<p>One of the great things about watching your favourite shows is that it leaves you open to do physical things even while you\u2019re watching! It\u2019s easy and relaxing to simply plop down on the couch and relax the night away, but if you, for instance, did some yoga while watching Westworld, you\u2019d be knocking out two birds with one stone \u2013 so don\u2019t be too lazy while you\u2019re relaxing! Working out and watching TV was almost meant to be!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Skip the elevator<\/h2>\n<p>Using the stairs can be one of the easiest and best changes anyone can make to their morning routine, because going up and down stairs is a great workout. Anything that gets your heart beating a little bit faster will be a great help to you and pretty much every apartment building has stairs! Think of them less as an inconvenience and more as a vehicle to get a little cardio every day. After a few months, you\u2019ll be blowing by them and wondering why you ever thought climbing stairs was difficult!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Do the \u2018invisible chair\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Yes, that exercise you hated in gym class as a kid \u2013 that doesn\u2019t mean that it isn\u2019t a great workout though! Whenever you\u2019re waiting for something, whether it be a bus or a co-worker, try to find a wall, put your back up to it, bend your legs as much as you\u2019re able, and hold the position as long as you can.
