Ever wanted to go on a movie date with your dog? You can do it, this weekend, as well as check out the country’s biggest improv festival, eat great food during a scavenger hunt (what!) and stock up on vintage knicknacks. Just some of the super cool things happening in Toronto this weekend, October 16-18.<\/p>\n

Big City Improv Festival<\/h2>\n

Headliners Adsit & Lutz and Colin Mochrie are part of the lineup for Canada’s biggest improv showcase. The beauty is, you never know what will happen and the thing goes on for nine days.<\/p>\n

In a true testament to how much Torontonians adore their fur babies, there’s a pet-friendly matinee movie event happening on Saturday. Obviously, pets are welcome (but must be on a leash). It’s not just for pet-lovers, but for anyone who loves four-legged friends. This edition: Homeward Bound (bring tissues)<\/p>\n

When to go: Saturday, 3-5 pm<\/p>\n

Scavenger hunts are cool, especially when there’s food involved. Taste all the weird and wonderful foods of Kensington Market and Chinatown as you answer tricky scavenger hunt questions. Awesome. Also, this is the last one of the year, so probably worth taking advantage!<\/p>\n

The last outdoor Leslieville Flea<\/h2>\n

Ah, Leslieville. So hipster. So trendy. So vintage. The Leslieville Flea kiind of epitomizes what it means to be a true Leslieviller (?) and this is the last outdoor event of its kind for the year. Pick up antiques, furniture, collectibles and crafts to add to your eclectic home decor or peg items for DIY projects. Oh, arrive early for the pre-flea yoga.<\/p>\n
